About the project: The planting design draws from a coastal botanical palette, with winding paths and subtle elevation changes creating a natural flow through the space. A focus on water conservation was integrated through dry creek beds and site grading to support infiltration and reduce runoff. An existing herb garden was preserved and reimagined to fit seamlessly within the new layout. The result is a functional, climate-conscious space rooted in both personal story and regional character.
