About the project: This San Luis Obispo home, located on a uniquely shaped lot, presented intriguing challenges in spatial layout, aesthetics, and functionality, making it an exciting design and build project. The formerly unusable sloped lawn has been transformed into a luxurious resort-style pool area with a firepit deck. A comprehensive topographic study was crucial, guiding the installation of new fencing, retaining walls, planting, an outdoor shower, lighting, and thoughtful spatial transitions. The design emphasizes multi-level entertainment, featuring an upper deck, BBQ zone, poolside deck, and an upper firepit lounge. A sleek concrete driveway and updated front yard now invite guests into this inviting, modern home in San Luis Obispo, CA.
