About the project: A residential landscape in Paso Robles designed to feel natural, relaxed, and deeply connected to its surroundings. This rustic-inspired project embraces the character of the site through curving decomposed granite pathways that guide movement throughout the garden, creating a soft, organic flow between outdoor spaces. A firepit lounge serves as a central gathering point, while a pergola dining area extends living outdoors for everyday meals and entertaining. A thoughtfully integrated landscape stairway, framed with natural boulders, connects grade changes while reinforcing the site’s sculpted, elemental quality. Native and drought-tolerant planting is woven throughout the design to soften edges, enhance texture, and ground the architecture within the Central Coast landscape..
