About the project: Elevation changes and existing conditions presented both challenges and opportunities for this San Luis Obispo landscape design and build. By integrating the natural terrain and emphasizing simple and effective placements of plants and materials, the project created a unique layout featuring a dining area, view garden, green space, and a Japanese-inspired threshold. Creative drainage solutions, including custom downspout connections, dry creeks, bridges, and boulders, were also incorporated to address water management.
